    ResourceManager crashes Visual Studio 2008/2010 on Add

    I'm trying to get Ext.Net 1.0 to work for me but it keeps crashing at the exact moment i'm trying to add a ResourceManager to the main page (or any other page), its throwing a system.nullreference exception followed by a IDE restart.
    I tried both 2008 and 2010 express, also removed all plugins installed into the IDE but nothing is working.

    Other components can be added but don't display the right way since there is no resource manager on the page.
    Also adding it manually in the source editor results in the same the moment you press the Save button inside the IDE.

    Anyone has a idea whats wrong?

    Visual Studio designer very unstable and heavy therefore complex designers can crash VS (it is related with assembly caching by VS and correct type casting can crash IDE because there are two the same types from cached assemblies).
    I reccomend to deactivate designers for Ext.Net

    Add the following option to section in the web.config
        <section name="extnet" type="Ext.Net.GlobalConfig" requirePermission="false" />
    <extnet designMode="Disabled" />
    Restart VS after that
