General licensing question

Hello,

I was on your web page because someone had recommended the Ext.NET. They had previously used ExtJS in Java but moved to a .NET environment. In any case, I noticed the licensing items under "Pricing". When I asked my friends about this, they didn't have any idea what I was talking about (concernign a license). My question is this...... is there some free open-source version of Ext.NET that doesn't require a paid license or is the licensing fees something that is newer and there used to be a no-cost Ext.NET?

Currently, the Ext.NET Community license (free) has been discontinued, but please read this post.
