I saw the trunk now includes Sencha 4.2 Beta2. I have not had the oppurtunity to test, but based on the release notes there were no notes on performance increase for IE Browsers. Still thought that was a goal of Sencha 4.2
Planned Areas for Performance Improvements in 4.next
I thought I remembered about IE performance improvements but maybe it was just general.
I believe they improved performance of buffered grids and buffered treepanels, but yes, no mention of layout or field optimization. I am hoping now that the grid is stable, they can focus back on layouts and fields (why oh why is each field a separate table)....

Yes, I also don't see anything special for IE. But the improvements on a whole should affect to performance in IE. (I have not had a good chance to test it yet).
