Hi there guys,

I bought a Coolite Pro license a couple of years ago. Unfortunately life side tracked the project I was working on but I am now returning to what I started back then. I see there have been a few changes with everything and not sure how the Coolite product I then bought fits into everything as they stand now.

Before I jump into the work to migrate my existing Coolite project to use the latest Ext.NET I would like to know what version I can use without buying a new license. I am also not sure if the Premium members got an upgrade to the next major release.

Thanks,
Conor

Hi Conor,

Welcome back.

Your license does include an major version upgrade to the v1.x release.

The easiest way to install the latest (v1.4.0 at this point) is using NuGet. More information on the download page.

http://www.ext.net/download/

The v1 Examples Explorer has been moved to the following location:

https://examples1.ext.net/

As well, there were Breaking Changes from 0.8 --> 1.x, please see the CHANGELOG.txt for more information:

https://examples1.ext.net/#/Getting_Started/Release_Documents/CHANGELOG/

The next major version release is 2.0.0 (currently 2.0.0.rc1), which can also be installed using NuGet. The final 2.0.0 release should be approx 4 weeks away.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for prompt response and more than happy to be back! I will download v1.4 and do all the code so it is working nicely... Will upgrade at a later point to the latest version once I have completed the project.
