I know that its possible to override css rules of the html as a whole by doing the following:

<style type="text/css">
* {
font-family: Verdana !important;
color: Lime !important;
}
</style>

Reference: http://forums.ext.net/showthread.php?21906-CLOSED-Override-Font-across-entire-application&p=95351&viewfull=1#post95351

But i would like to know whether it would be better to create a custom SASS.

Daniil, what is your position?

Hi Raphael,

My position could be formulated like "use whatever works":)

If a CSS override works, i think it is good enough for your scenario. Implementing a SASS solution could also work, but it might be an overkill.

As for CSS vs SASS, there is a related discussion (http://forums.ext.net/showthread.php?28185) that might be helpful.
