Hello:

By any chance, did you guys have to integrate codemirror (http://codemirror.net) or ace (http://ace.c9.io/) with ext.net or an ext.net app? If yes, is it easy - do you end up writing c# wrappers or it's simply done in javascript? I haven't done anything yet, just starting, but I was curious if you had any experience with these. The sencha fiddle site, https://fiddle.sencha.com/#home, uses codemirror. If you tried both, which one did you prefer?

Thanks

I don't think any of us have tried either of those products.

What is it exactly that you would like to "integrate"?

They both appear to be syntax highlights and code editors. Would you like the ability for your customers to be able to directly edit Ext.NET code and resave some small snippets?

Sorry, for not being clear. I meant "integrate" as in "used".

Yes, they are online javascript code editors and I was curious if you had any experience with them. I want to use it for a custom expression language that is part of our app.

I just did a small poll asking the team if anybody tried either CodeMirror or Ace. Unfortunately, nobody and, I guess, we have no suggestions to you except good luck:)

You are welcome to post any updates.

Thanks for looking into this. I decided to go with Ace for no particular reason. I've seen a post from a guy saying it's more stable, but both seem to be equally good. I found some extjs 4 wrappers:
