Hi

I am using Ext.Net MVC 2.2 version.
Just want to understand what is the best practice of deployment of Ext.Net Library in production environment.

I am including the following files now.

Ext.Net.dll
Ext.Net.Utilities.dll
Newtonsoft.jason.dll
Transformer.Net.dll

Is there any way to minify or compress the deployment files (like we do with JS frameworks)... so that it improves the client performance of my application on production.

Many Thanks,
Rajiv Dutt

Hi @RajivDutt,

There is no way to compress dlls and, generally speaking, it would not affect the performance.

If you use the official public release, you can use these settings:

<ext:ResourceManager runat="server" RenderScripts="CDN" RenderStyles="CDN" />

It can improve the performance.

Otherwise all the best settings are enabled by default.

There are some threads regarding optimizing of an Ext.NET application. Though it is not related to deploying, just common tips.
