View Full Version : [CLOSED] Default (Blue) and Gray Themes look flat under IE11

I'm using v2.40 of ext.net. Both the gray and the default (blue) themes look flat under IE10. Gradients are not displaying properly; grid headers are ugly dark gray; one can barely distinguish between selected tab and non-selected tab; etc. Unfortunately our users will most likely use IE because this is what their workplace permits them to have (they are a large corporation). I experimented a bit and found out that the W3C standard works well under many browsers, such as Chrome, FireFox, IE10, etc. Can you please release an update to your CSS so that your controls look right under IE10?

Please ensure that your IE10 doesn't use compatibility mode

Ext.Net supports IE10 correctly, please ensure that compatibility mode is not activated and open http://examples2.ext.net/ for testing

I turned off compatibility mode, the panels still look flat and the header of your website shows wrong:

7476

Then, I turned on the compatibility mode again, and I also added ext.net to the list of websites to use for compatibility view. Now the panels look fine, but tree area fonts are too big, see below:

7477

Since we may have many clients who use IE, I prefer not to need to mess with these settings if possible...

I cannot reproduce it

I use IE10 on Windows 7 32bit
What configuration do you use?

Also, please open developer tools console in IE10 and post browser mode and document mode here
Also try top clear cache of IE10

Sorry, for confusion I am actually using IE11, I didn't realize the computer automatically applied the upgrade. Did you check with IE11?

Well, we cannot say that IE11 is fully supported, because the latest ExtJS public release appeared before the IE11 release. We depend on that.

Though, it mostly works well.

the panels still look flat
It looks that the background is not applied correctly.

and the header of your website shows wrong

Hmm, I don't see this issue.

SVN trunk update: IE11 support for Ext.Net 2.5 in revision #5636.

If you can try your test case on your environment with that revision, we would like to know whether it works for you or not.
