View Full Version : [CLOSED] v1.7 to v2.3: TreePanel SingleClickExpand

So, in v1.7 I had a nice and simple property SingleClickExpand of TreeNode.
But now I have Node and no SingleClickExpand property.
So do I really have to do it the long way with ItemClick listener and some TreePanel method? But hey, why I don't see shortcut method for toggling the node in ExtJs 4.2.x? Only collapseNode and expandNode. And how should I check if the node collapsed or not?..

Why things can't be done simple?

BTW, nothing about SingleClickExpand is written in the BREAKING_CHANGES document.

Found something. Shall the

<ViewConfig runat="server" ToggleOnDblClick="false"></ViewConfig>
do the trick?

Yes.
There are too many breaking changes omitted from the document BREAKING_CHANGES. I.e Ext.net.DirectMethods is no longer working and only from examples I learned that I have to use App.direct...

I have to agree - many items are missed. Apologize for the inconvenience.

Added:

182. The default DirectMethods namespace "Ext.net.DirectMethods" has been changed to "App.direct".

183. The TreeNode's SingleClickExpand no longer exists. How to get that behavior in v2, please follow:

Thank you!

Is there a thread for such a things? I want to add some more things I found out by myself so others won't spent too much time on upgrading Ext.net (as I can see, there are many threads related to breaking changes of new versions).

i.e I've spent some time trying to get working my ItemClick event with custom attributes unless I found out that in the p.57 there are words about adding corresponding fields to the TreePanel's Model ( it's harsh - I have many places where I use CustomAttributes and I have to define Model everywhere :-( )
BTW, there wasn't words that "node" should be renamed to "record".
