I have a problem with 'saving' the current state, so I trie to figure out what's happening.
Why is the staterestore listener never fired ? (well..at my own pc it isn't)
The statesave event is triggered without problems.

Hi Martin,

You should set up some StateProvider.

<ext:ResourceManager runat="server" StateProvider="Cookie" />

By default, it is None.

Simple..thanks !

But...why is the statesave listener still fired without setting the StateProvider ?

Well, due to the Stateful implementation.

It saves a state to some default Provider (actually, to nowhere), so, it fires the StateSave event.

But when it tries to restore a state retrieving it from that default Provider, but there is nothing, because the state was not really saved.

Hope this helps:)

Thanks for explaining it Daniil ! Have a nice weekend :)
