Hi,

The following code from v1.x can't seem to work in v2.2 since startTask.defer is undefined:

App.TaskManager1.startTask.defer(100, App.TaskManager1, ['MyTask']);

<ext:TaskManager ID="TaskManager1" runat="server">
<Tasks>
<ext:Task TaskID="MyTask" AutoRun="false">
<Listeners>
<Update Handler="" />
</Listeners>
</ext:Task>
</Tasks>
</ext:TaskManager>

Am I missing anything here?

Hi Vadym,

Please see item #40.
http://examples2.ext.net/#/Getting_Started/Release_Documents/BREAKING_CHANGES/

Here is an excerpt.

Example 2

//Old

var f = function () { };
f.defer(10);

//New

Ext.Function.defer(f, 10);

Thanks Daniil!

I think it should look something like this now:

Ext.Function.defer(App.TaskManager1.startTask, 100, App.TaskManager1, ['MyTask']);

If so, please close this thread down.

Yes, I think that is correct.
