View Full Version : [CLOSED] Toolbar's item has a mouse over appearance when it's disabled

When the Toolbar's item is disabled it is shown as it would be when the mouse was over it.

I would like to like to know whether it's the expected behaviour from now since on previous versions it was working "properly".

Thanks in advance

Going further, it's possible to see the issue mentioned above on the following examples:

Hi Raphael,

StandOut="true" makes a Button looks stand out even if it is disabled. But it looks disabled as well.

I would say it is correct.

Here is a test case.

Example

<ext:Toolbar runat="server">
<Items>
<ext:Button
runat="server"
Text="Non StandOut Enabled" />

<ext:Button
runat="server"
Text="StandOut Enabled"
StandOut="true" />

<ext:Button
runat="server"
Text="Non StandOut Disabled"
Disabled="true" />

<ext:Button
runat="server"
Text="StandOut Disabled"
StandOut="true"
Disabled="true" />
</Items>
</ext:Toolbar>

Generally, StandOut="true" just adds the mouse over CSS class.

You can remove it manually for a disabled Button if needed.

Example

<ext:Button
runat="server"
Text="StandOut Disabled"
StandOut="true"
Disabled="true">
<Listeners>
<AfterRender Handler="if (this.disabled) {
this.removeClsWithUI(this.overCls);
}" />

<Disable Handler="this.removeClsWithUI(this.overCls);" />
</Listeners>
</ext:Button>

I may be wrong but doesn't it equals set Standout property to false? As far i can see, the appearance is the same in both cases.

I don't think so. Enabled Buttons will look differently in the Toolbar, but disabled ones will look the same.

i got your point. i was discussing that they would have the same appearance when they are disabled.

Thank you Danill

Yes, and I have just demonstrated how to get the same view for the disabled Buttons regardless on their StandOut setting.
