Hello

I'm new to ext trees, so possibly there is some logical reason behind.
I tried to use the ComponentColumn inside the treepanel (treegrid) and got the js exception.

I know that there re editors - and they ooks good
What I don't like on editors is that they are not "initially" visible
Means - for example with DateField editor, it appears after 2 ( or other number of) clicks,
so user has to know that he is supposed to click

I was thinking of some css magic to "imitate" the editor on readonly tree cell, but before that I would like to ask :
- what type of columns are supported in tree?

Thanks

Hi @aisi_it_admin,

I tried to use the ComponentColumn inside the treepanel (treegrid) and got the js exception.

It should throw this exception:

TreePanel doesn't support ComponentColumn

Unfortunately, it still doesn't support it. I will discuss it with my colleagues.

I discussed.

There is a possibility to get ComponentColumn working with TreePanel. It is something we are looking into.

I can't provide you with any time frame, but we hope to include it in some of the next releases.

ComponentColumn and CommandColumn TreePanel support has been added to SVN trunk. It will appear in the v2.2 release.

Though it currently does not support buffered grids and trees. But we hope to get it.
