Hi,

Based in this example: http://examples2.ext.net/#/GridPanel/MultiHeader/Filter/

We would like to build a GridPanel filter where it allows to search any column starting with a given value.

In our sample code, it works just for a single column, but not when we try to filter more than one column:

<%@ Page Language="C#" %>

<%@ Register Assembly="Ext.Net" Namespace="Ext.Net" TagPrefix="ext" %>

<script runat="server">
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
if (!X.IsAjaxRequest)
{
var data = this.GetData();
var store1 = this.GridPanel1.GetStore();

store1.DataSource = data;
store1.DataBind();
}
}

public object[] GetData()
{
return new object[] {
new object[] { "3m Co", 71.72, 0.02, 0.03, "01/01/2008" },
new object[] { "Alcoa Inc", 29.01, 0.42, 1.47, "02/01/2008" },
new object[] { "Altria Group Inc", 83.81, 0.28, 0.34, "03/01/2008" },
new object[] { "American Express Company", 52.55, 0.01, 0.02, "10/01/2008" },

Thanks.

Hi,

I think it's possible.

Please look at the filterString function. It uses just a single dataIndex to filter.

var filterString = function (value, dataIndex, record) {
var val = record.get(dataIndex).toString();

return val.toLowerCase().startsWith(value.toLowerCase());
};

You should use all dataIndexes that you need to use.

Thanks,

I passed and array of dataIndexes instead of single dataIndex. Then, just iterate around all them to get the required rows.

Regards.
